Ulysses S. Grant
Grant was a great war general that won some of the most important battles of the Civil War such as: Vicksburg and Chattanooga. As the war ended he made some bad decisions. He tried being offensive instead of Defensive.

Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president. He was against 3 things: Slavery, When States have more power than the government, and War. Some of his biggest moments are: Gettysburg Address, Emancipation Proclamation, His 2nd Inauguration Speech, Being Assassinated, and Giving Great Speeches.

Jefferson Davis
"War Hero" in the Mexican American War. He was the President of the Confederate States of America.They picked him because he was easily influenced. Eventually he was tried for treason and let go 2 years later. Admitted defeat. Overall he was a poor leader.

Robert E. Lee
Lee opposed the idea of Seceding for his home state but when Lincoln asked him to be the war general for the Union Army. He was a well respected war general for the South. Some of his Great Victories are Seven Days Battle, Second Battle of Bull Run, and Fredericksburg but eventually he ended up surrendering in Richmond, Virginia.
